What are other benefits and incentives like at Wolseley UK?
Pros
Nice people and managers - family feel to the place. Large office with free parking for everyone. Subsidised cafeteria.
Cons
Pay is very poor against market standards, I think this holds the company back from attracting young dynamic talent. Very little effort to develop a social aspect to the job.
Advice to Management
Pay people more.

Branch level staff are excellent Stock availability is excellent
Cons
Staffing levels are a joke with pressure to achieve targets with no input from senior management of how to achieve targets and grow a business
Advice to Management
Have more involvement with branches/staff to achieve and grow the main concern for me was lack of staff and cost cutting measures put in place with transport being centralised etc destroyed customer relations
Stock availability is excellent
