What is health insurance like at Zartis?

Pros

My experience has been very positive. They gave me the opportunity to come from Ireland to Madrid and keep working for an international company. They have a cool environment, nice office and great people around. The office is in the hearth of barrio salamanca and has a nice kitchen (tee,coffee,fruit...) with a foosball table. Food and drinks are provided time to time by Zartis Flexible payroll (transport+restaurant credit card)

Cons

Could have more benefits (private health care, gym membership, cesta de navidad,...)

How are the career development opportunities at Zartis?

Pros

There is an incredibly good atmosphere in the company and you really feel that you count, that your well-being does matter, that you are part of a fantastic human community. There is a strong culture of not leaving anyone behind (there is an emphasis on not laying down people: in the rare event in which a client stops collaborating with Zartis, the employees working for that client are relocated to other projects, not left behind). It is growing a lot and new opportunities are arising in the company. But above all, it is a great community of good people.

Cons

Personal development plans are not yet really developed and there is not a formal framework of career progress. They are working on it though, but they are not there yet.

Advice to Management

Keep nurturing this great ambiance and keep caring about the well-being of Zartis employees

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Zartis?

Pros

- They pay good bonuses: this (partly) compensates the fact that their base salaries are rather low - Great team: everyone is very competent in their field and motivated to to their best; besides, the team is very young and culturally diverse - Laid back culture: the work environment is easygoing and informal, you only have to focus on doing your best - Interesting projects: you get the chance to work with great clients and to get in touch with talented developers from all over the world; besides, you're put in charge of your projects from day one

Cons

- Lack of fairness and transparency in the decision-making: it's not always clear how they assign the projects to each recruiter; you can find yourself stuck with a client who goes radio silent without being told why and if you bring it up, you receive only encouraging words that are not actually backed up by concrete actions - Even though the atmosphere seems overall friendly, there's a significant amount of competition among colleagues lurking below the surface. Sometimes the colleague sitting close to you might reach out to the candidates you're handling and start scheduling calls with them without telling you - The onboarding and training processes are overall poor, as well as their attention to career development needs

Advice to Management

Overall, the management is doing a great job in growing the business. However, they should work hard on putting Zartis's corporate values into practice and on implementing an effective strategy for the development of their own workforce
