The initial interview was by telephone. That was done by a recruiter that works for 9-dot HR. The phone interview process was actually longer and more thorough than the face to face interview. Upon arriving at their office I waited 30 minutes to speak with the Director, she asked a series of entry level questions related to my ability to manage a group of junior level staff. I responded to each question asked and additionally gave personal accounts so as provide examples of when I actually had to resolve or manage the issue. She stated that I had very extensive experience and more than ample qualifications for the position. I asked her had they read my resume prior to scheduling time to interview me. She said she had but apparently not in detail.
I reiterated my interest and the interview was over in all of 15 minutes. A week went by and I did not hear from the Director, nor the recruiter. I called them and was told the position had been filled from within. A week later another recruiter from 9-Dot contacted me and spoke with me for close to 30 minutes. At the close of the conversation she stated that I would be perfect for the position. She then ask to schedule an interview for the same position, not knowing that I had applied earlier. Two days later, she email me to say that the Director had already met me and would get back with me as they completed interviews.
