      Lead Development Associate Interview

      8 May 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Allentown, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Allentown, PA) in May 2013

      Interview

I submitted my resume to ADP as i was preparing to graduate from college and two weeks later i received a call from a recruiter wanting to set up a phone interview. This phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and was a low pressure conversation. The recruiter was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable answering her questions. Some advice i would give about this part of the interview would be to have questions ready to ask the recruiter, they love to answer questions and it shows that you are really interested. After the phone interview i set up an in person interview with a senior manager. The interview only lasted 20 minutes and i was offered the position. This time the interviewer was a little bit more intimidating, but i was able to gain some confidence by thoroughly answering the questions. As the interview progressed i felt more and more comfortable and felt as though i could join this team. I would say that as long as you show confidence in yourself that you can do the job you are applying for, and that you have a well rounded understanding of the company, and the position that you should have a good chance of landing the job. I had no background in business or sales but was offered the job.
