I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Mississauga, ON) in Aug 2011
Interview
Started by applying online through the Accenture Career Portal. The application process was a bit more involved then the usual as there were two short answer type questions (Why do you want to be a consultant? What is a typical day for a consultant?).
I got the initial phone call within a week of applying to the position. This call was just to pick a time and date for the first phone interview.
They first interview was a typical HR phone interview, they asked about my GPA, Talked about the position, asked if I was okay with all the traveling that is involved and so on. This took 10-15min.
I heard back from them within a day, and that's when we scheduled the second interview (this was also over the phone). From what I've read online this is the make-or-break interview (PFI interview). I worked my but off to prepare for this interview. The interviewer was very nice and polite, she started off by talking about herself and then started asking questions (see below for questions). The interview lasted 45mins and the next day I heard back from them telling me that I had moved on to the final round which was going to be 3 weeks later.
For the last interview I had to go to the Accenture office, where I met with the HR rep who asked me to fill out some forms. I was then escorted to the first 1on1 interview. The interviewer was a senior manager, he asked me a few questions similar to the second round interview (if you prepared well for the second round you shouldn't have a problem with these), but for the majority of the time I was asking him questions. I had prepared 7-8 questions so the time just flew by. Next I waited in a conference room while the next interviewer had a discussion with the first interviewer. The second interview proceeded in the same manner as the previous one. Both of the 1on1 interviews were very casual and more of a discussion.
I heard back from Accenture the following week with the offer which I accepted.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Talk about a time where you asked your manager (or other senior members) for help for a technical problem you were having and what happened?
Three interviews: 1. Fit interview, 2. Case interview and 3. Interview with unit lead. Fit interview was on my background and motivations. Case interview included standard problem-solving/market sizing types of questions. The interview with unit lead was more on my expectations with Accenture and the work I might be doing.

Interview
It was very smooth and generally questions were from CV itself. One should be thorough with Cv and job description to answer those questions. They are looking for someone who is confident and can handle the challenges in job.
