I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Addepar
Interview
I was referred by a friend and had good things to say about Addepar. I had my initial call with the recruiter. I could tell immediately that he was trying to lowball me and admitted that they don't do an excellent job of labeling jobs with the right salary ranges/what they actually pay. He also made the job interviewing process sound terrible admitting that the case study is scrutinized on purpose like a client would. I am an implementation specialist right now and can tell you from experience that when clients ask questions, they are legitimate questions about offerings and services and the process, not trying to test your abilities or wanting you to fail.

Question 1
Tell me in your own words why you want to move now at this point of your career?
I am sorry to hear you had this experience. Our goal is to pay according to experience and job market conditions. It can be a challenge to find the correct number. Our interview process for these roles includes a case study with a Q&A session. We certainly don't look for people to fail. Feel free to reach out to me directly with additional feedback. eric.berg@addepar. com
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Addepar
Interview
Time intensive with many rounds. Everyone was extremely friendly, but it did seem that things would have been easier if they were consolidated down into fewer interviews, perhaps with more people joining the calls instead of breaking them into different rounds.
