Online Interview was arranged in a Behavioural - Technical - Behavioural format.
For behavioural, the questions were fine except there were a lot of it (at least 8-9). This is considering it was combined with the technical component.
For technical, questions range from OOTP, encryption, database, etc. It was excessive to say the least. For example, the interviewer asked about the different normalisation step by step (1NF - 6NF) and the details of each.
In addition, the "whiteboard coding" component (part of technical) was also conducted poorly. Instead of providing the details of the problem and possible test cases/examples, the interviewer only gave 1-2 liner verbal explanation. Despite providing a more optimal solution, he was only fixated on a specific solution . In the end, only the brute force was requested to be coded. There were no questions about previous experiences or projects. It felt like he just had a checklist of topics to cover.
To top it off, an outcome was promised within the next few days. Except there was none. Terrible experience.
