They messed me about for 3 weeks while they dithered about whether to interview me or not, and gave lame but maybe plausible excuses I took in good faith.
The interview process was a 3 way panel video interview. It was supposed to be 2 way but somebody who had never been mentioned before joined and said very little while glowering like a thundercloud.
I liked one of them, neutral about the second and felt negatively about the third.
I was asked, with a few days notice, to prepare a 5 minute presentation on why I was suited to the role.
On the day, I sat through a 10 minute presentation about the company and product which was interesting enough, then gave my own presentation.
This was followed up by a few logic questions, some questions about my experience like "what lab equipment have you used?" and some technical questions which were not very related to the job but more general.
After this, I asked a few questions and we finished on exactly the hour mark and they said they would get back to me within 10 days.
To date, way more than 10 days later, they are still messing me about so while I have not received an offer I expect to decline it if they finally get their act together and communicate like adults.
It appears this experience gels with the rest of the reviews.
