Firstly, a Montreal recruiter called and, though bilingualism was not required, asked to conduct the interview in French.
The second step was to speak with the HR representative in Toronto who insisted that she would send a meeting request for me to call in for the phone interview; she forgot to send it. The Montreal recruiter was contacted and he got the Toronto HR person to reschedule the missed interview.
The interview was typical HR, but weak in content.
An in-person interview was scheduled; I insisted that I will meet the hiring manager! This is when another phone interview was set-up with the same HR resource.
This interview was behavioural addressing Project Management qualifiers.
Promptly, the next day the HR contact sent a boilerplate rejection without feedback.
