Interview
I had an online test(Aptitude + technical(java,Sql,unix) ) in the month of november,2009 and received a mail within a week confirming that i cleared it . Then there was no communication from amdocs end till march,2010.
In the first week of march, i received call from the same consultant who scheduled my next round( face to face interview). i went to amdocs gurgaon office for that and cleared that too. HR round was scheduled for the same day but it did not happened due to time constraints.
Then i got a call from HR after few days for the final round. It went well and HR offered me an offer to join amdocs. I was not satisfied with compensation they were offering and informed them that i am willing to join but only if we can discuss the compensation part futher. The HR called again after 2 weeks to inform the maximum they can offer. She was not even ready to dicuss it further and it was a kind of take it or leave it now offer. So finally i accepted the offer though it is about 40,000 rs less than my expectations but considering amdocs is preety good company, i think its fine

First round with HR to know current assignment. If it fits the requirement then technical round with hiring manager. If selected then last round with HR for negotiations. once it is done one can get the call to join at the earliest.

Interview
They are conducting the Fake drives. Recently they had recruitment drive in Gurgaon for Pune location for C++ profile. First selection process was Aspiring Minds Amcat test. Second test was 1:1 face to face round. In second round they had 31 persons shortlisted but none them was selected for the job profile. I had answered every question asked in the interview despite that i did not received the call nor did anyone of the other person. At least they should mail all interviewees there status of the interview. The HR system of your company is entirely useless.
