The process started with an initial call from HR, where they asked me some basic questions about my background and experience. Toward the end of the call, they also asked about my salary expectations.
After that, I had a call with the hiring manager. He asked me some general technical questions and then gave me a take home assignment to complete.
Once I submitted the assignment, I was invited to an in-person interview. This time, the questions were more in depth and focused heavily on security and architecture. I was asked to design and explain a secure cloud architecture.
Following that, I had another conversation with HR, this one was more focused on my personality and how I would fit within the team and company culture.
Lastly, the company’s CISO wanted to meet me, so another interview was scheduled. He asked some very deep technical questions and we also had a broader discussion about security practices and mindset.
