I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Income Life (Boston, MA)
Interview
Someone contacted me at home, apparently they pulled my résumé off Monster and said that I seemed like a "good match" for what they were looking for. They did not give details on the job, but said they needed agents and managers too. I was set up for an interview the next day. I was surprised to see a lot of others there, possibly 20 or so candidates. I had a preliminary interview with a young kid who probably did not have more than a year work experience in his life and did not have the remotest clue as to how to conduct an interview. It would have been amusing if I hadn't wasted my time and gas driving in. After the "interview" we were herded into a large room and given a questionnaire to fill in and the a senior guy who said he had been with the company for 17 years gave us a pep talk/video presentation and tried to sell the role to us. Basically, he told us we were guaranteed to
make "good money" . It was a hard sell . There was an exit interview and I was asked to come back next morning to meet with a manager. I did not. Two weeks later someone else from the company called up saying that they had a job for me ! I don't think they realized that I had come in before.
The interview went well, I'm just looking for insight on what I'll be walking into starting this job. I had to add a review to be able to see others reviews, I will update as soon as I start.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was disjointed and inconclusive. Zoom - 3 total. 1st- basic meet-greet. 2nd- a company promo video you watch alone mostly about an annual convention in a tropical location: nothing specific about the job. 3rd- "Host is in another meeting," waited 20 mins and left, so it never happened.

Question 1
There wasn't a real interview. Never got to find out about the agency or the actual position. If it's that disorganized and disrespectful from the get-go, I want nothing to do with it.
