Ampjar was quick to respond to my application. The team is entirely remote so this was a zoom interview. The person who interviewed me was friendly and somewhat easy to talk to but honestly didn't seem to really be paying attention to my responses. Maybe she was having a crazy day but I felt like it was a little unfortunate and unprofessional. The more disappointing thing was that I applied and prepared for the interview based on the job description posted, naturally. When our conversation wasn't lining up, she let me know that "actually the job description is out of date for this role and we've changed direction with it." I'm not sure how I could have prepared for that and it ultimately ended up wasting both our time. Just my experience.
