I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Annalect (Noida) in Aug 2024
Interview
First round will be HR. They want to know about your previous projects and overall experience, your salary expectations and your collaboration skills with other teams.
Second round will be Technical round with 2 persons; Technical Lead and Senior Data Analyst. They will ask you certain questions on SQL, Python, Visualization and Statistics including SQL queries and Python programs.
Third round will be with Hiring manager who will ask you questions related to previous projects in detail; your strengths and weakness; results you have achieved in the past based on your analytical skills and tools you have used to complete the tasks.
I answered all the questions right in Technical interview other than DAX functions but got rejected.

3) Join two tables in SQL without using OUTER keyword
4) Join two tables city and country to get the population of cities from highest to lowest
5) LIKE function in SQL to find the name of city with certain name
6) Outliers and usage of Scatter plot
7) Mean, median, mode
8) Probability
9) DAX functions in Power BI to find out the Total Sales for different products based on product category
10 DAX function in Power BI to find out the previous year sales
No response after repeated follow up, No professionalism to get back candidate for closure.Doesnt matter if selected or no selected,Should have some ethics to send a response to candidate who has spent more than 60 mins of their time.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Annalect (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2021
Interview
1st Round - Amazing recruiter that completely sold me on the company. She was so friendly and made the process very pleasant!
2nd Round - 30 minutes with a senior director. He only started a few weeks prior to hosting the interview so he didn’t really have much to say about the company. Asked questions about management style and personality.
3rd Round - 30 minutes with 2 managers on the data team. They asked very specific questions related to MMM and modeling. Felt like they were trying to find holes in my experience and it was overall bad vibes. They did not have many good things to say about the company.
4th Round - 30 minute interview with someone in the same position. He asked questions about my experience and a few statistical questions. He seemed really bored and uninterested.
I did get a job offer, but ultimately decided to go with another company. The bad reviews here and the bad vibes I got from my multiple interviewers felt like too many red flags.
