I applied online. I interviewed at Anne Arundel County Public Schools
Interview
I applied back in February. I submitted all my references, did the assessment, and completed the application. I did a phone interview for my screening interview and then received and email in February, saying that my application could be viewed by principals and if I met their qualifications, they would call me for an interview.
I didn’t start hearing from principals until June. I went on a handful of interviews and had a principal that wanted to hire me. Then I received an email from HR saying I was no longer being considered and could not get a job with Anne Arundel County for the upcoming school year. I don’t know what changed between February and June but I am very upset with their interview process. Here I thought I had a job and then found out that not only did I not have that job but also couldn’t get a job in the county as a whole. Very unprofessional. The whole point of the screening process is to insure that principals are only interviewing candidates that HR has already approved. Plus if I would have found out in February that I was rejected, I would have done a lot of things differently in my job search.

You will take the EPI test! It is not hard but I was not expecting it. Overall the other questions were straightforward. Nothing out of the ordinary. I would say the hardest one was about describing something you struggle with.
