Went through a full 5-round interview loop. Strong performance across most rounds. Was then rejected — apparently due to lack of BSc degree (on my LinkedIn and in my CV I claim "postgraduate (in Europe this is how degrees called what you can get after high school) degree in web development" and they misinterpreted this sentence in the beginning thinking it is a BSc), despite the job posting explicitly stating 'or equivalent'. Recruiter suddenly ghosted me after I clarified my educational background via BG check. No response for 7+ business days on an open conversation she initiated. If you don't have a university degree — don't waste your time regardless of what the job posting says. The 'or equivalent' clause appears to have zero practical application
