Telephone pre-screen, did not reach face to face stage.
First arranged interview was late and missed. This second one happened on time. No technical task was set beforehand.
The development manager is relatively new to the position and appears to be aiming for a PHP Team Lead who can implement CI/Automated deployment. I would recommend the role for someone who is comfortably DevOps and eager to implement change in that area. Questions asked during the interview were definition based. In contrast with better interview experiences where the interview itself is a learning experience, this felt much more rote. If you use the right keywords, I'm sure you would reach the next stage of the process.
I would suggest that prospective interviewees look up github repos/frameworks used for an idea of what would be required of them. As well as ask questions around current practices. Recommend this position for someone eager to implement DevOps based change.
