I recently went through the interview process at Avasant, which consisted of four rounds: HR screening, two hiring manager discussions, a PPT presentation, and a final partner round.
I successfully cleared the first three rounds and invested significant time and effort in preparing the presentation. However, my experience during and after the final round was disappointing.
The partner round was not aligned with expectations. Typically, such discussions are more high-level and strategic, but the conversation was heavily technical and felt inconsistent with the earlier stages of the process.
Additionally, I was asked to visit the office for this round, which required considerable time and effort. Unfortunately, after completing the final interview, there has been no communication or update from HR, even after a follow-up.
Overall, the lack of clarity in interview expectations and the absence of post-interview communication reflect poorly on the candidate experience.
Suggestion to Management:
Improve alignment across interview stages and ensure timely communication with candidates, especially after final rounds.
