Involved talking to the hiring manager followed by two separate technical interviews.
Hiring manager explained the over picture of what they are looking for to see how I can fit in.

Questions related to Sql server, Python, Java and shell scripting.
Best strategy for ingesting ETL into SQL server, snapshot, disaster recovery, JDBC calls to database, data structures in Python, object oriented programming, java collections.

There were multiple phone interviews beginning with some technical questions. Other phone interviews asked questions about how you handle different organizational situations. After being hired a manager called to ask more questions to see which group I would fit into best.

it was a long interview applied through college they set up a phone interview and then in person interview mostly application questions and got selected but allready got an other job so declined the offer

Easy interview process where I was asked basic Python and SQL questions during one phone screen interview followed by 3 1:1 interviews.
For the 1:1 interviews ...
The interviewers seemed to be interested in primarily gauging my fit. They also asked me basic questions dealing with Python constructs, SQL, asked me to write some basic sql joins, and I walked them through my resume' as well.
The final interview was with the hiring manager who asked me definitively whether I wanted to do this job and whether I would be willing to take up SQL programming (I am primarily a python programmer) if needed.
