I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bank of America in Jul 2022
Interview
A stupid process with random questions on stuff not on your resume. Interviewers make you write code in a webex chat window. I decided to end it early because this is not the work environment I want to be a part of
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bank of America (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
So I got interview call through a recruiter. It was Phone Interview of technical discussion.
Started with experience and current project. Later started with Tech discussion interview on UI technologies like React, JS, Redux, HTML, CSS and websocket. It went pretty well, explained him in both ways Theoretical and Practical use. I did not have hands on websocket so honestly told him the knowledge I have on websocket.
Later couple of behavioral questions and discussion over the project of requirement.
Got feedback,
1. I do not have experience on Python. Wait a sec, did you find in my resume?
2. Do not have networking experience. Wait a sec, is it Network Engineer job?
Totally irrelevant feedback from interview, Job description and responsibilities was very short.
Unprofessional experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Compare 2 objects, pure function, synthetic events, es6 features, drawback of arrow function, css box modal, what is babel, how do you handle pressure, hardest project in experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Englewood, CO) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview was actually pretty laid back. It was a combination of behavioral questions, technical questions, and a short coding exercise (FizzBuzz with a twist). I am disappointed because I never heard back with a yes or no and when I emailed the recruiter asking for an update, he never got back to me. I think a quick call to say I didn't get it wouldn't hurt, would it?

Question 1
They asked numerous things: how to solve FizzBuzz with my name in it, describe why I would use React to a non-technical executive, what do I want to become a software engineer, etc.
