The initial communication was via email, and relatively straightforward and low-stress. The hiring manager came across as very approachable.
My interview was quite thorough for one conversation, but the hiring process did not seem particularly drawn-out. Questions were focused on my interest in the industry. The interviewers seemed to be concerned about finding a candidate with long-term compatability with the company. As far as I could tell, the culture stressed a sense for the financial and legal environment and good skills operating within this environment - very focused on the company's external relationships.
