I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bluemercury
Interview
I was informed that there was an opening for an esthetician in the store that I am going to be working for, so I applied and got a call to interview 1:1 next day. When I arrived to my interview, filled out an application that took 10mins and the manager then spoke with me. She asked how long I've been in the industry, strengths/weakness, comfort level with clients, sales, etc. Then proceeded to do a quick brow wax to see how I work. The manager wanted to do a second interview for hands on testing (did a facial and body waxing). Finally, I got a phone call from the DM to do a quick Q&A and right after got another call from the store manager to officially offer me the position!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bluemercury (Bethesda, MD) in Sept 2018
Interview
Went to Starbucks talked about the position over coffee. They asked about previous training and schooling. Gave me a brief summary of the brand and it’s development. We discussed what they are looking for and that their very selective on who they decide to hire. Meaning after the 1:1 expect a practical interview preforming a facial and Brazilian.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Bluemercury (New York, NY) in Sept 2017
Interview
Very clean, nice atmosphere. Very helpful. The manager was the sweetest. The woman I interviewed with was very nice and explained in detail the job details and expectations. She reviewed salary as well.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bluemercury (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
Spoke with manager on the phone. She asked me to come in to fill out application. We had a good interview. She said I was what the company was looking for. I had some questions regarding the position. She told me she would speak to her manager and get back to me. Never heard back.
