The first stage was a HackerRank challenge with 120 minutes to do 3 questions. Be prepared to know strings, linked lists, and graphs. The second stage was a two-week take-home assignment. We had to write a complex game, which took me 3-4 full days. There were office hours where they explained the assignment and answered questions. The last stage was a 30 minute phone call with a recruiting member and a code walkthrough over Zoom. The phone call was the usual behavioral questions, like “tell me about yourself” and “describe a time when you had a disagreement with a team member”. In the code-walkthrough I had to add features to my game.
The recruiters were friendly and the process was organized. Their decision was not to move forward with me, but they said they had a positive experience with me. The only thing I didn’t like is that I didn’t get specific feedback on why I didn’t fit the role.
