first apply online, and receive email, then several round of interviews with different people from related teams. have to wait for a long time to get feedback of each round.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CARIAD (Redmond, WA) in May 2023
Interview
1. Hacker rank exam 2. 1 Hr hiring manager 3. Onsite 2hr - 2 rounds with 2 engineers. Not flexible at the time of onsite schedule. Initial I scheduled onsite for a particular day and recruiter called me they cant wait till that date, recruiter mentioned I have to reschedule based on interviewers timelines but not my availability which sounded little inconvenience. Interview results: After onsite I had to ask them for every 2-3 days for follow up. No reply nothing. Finally messaged manager on Linkedin for update then I got call from recruiter. Not a very good experience. If you have an update just let interviewed person know so that they do not keep hope or wait for the results.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CARIAD (Berlin) in Feb 2022
Interview
It was a joy talking to the engineers within the team, but the behavioral interview by HR was really messy. An Invitation (after already two rounds) came in the form of an automatically generated Teams Invitation. Even after shifting the appointment with an Email the new Invitation was the Teams Message again. The Interviewer obviously read questions from a sheet on a second screen and sometimes followed up randomly with generic interruption like can you elaborate more, while giving no hint on what exactly. It felt like they did not want to fill the position at all. Still it was open for months after my interview. I declined their offer as it was way below my expextations.
