Interview
Very lengthy interview process designed to make you question whether you are "good enough" for the company, no matter what your prior experience or qualifications are. First interview is most likely with a regional recruiter who will screen applicants and invite those who pass to take an online personality quiz. If your answers show you to have a "business owner" mindset, you will be called in for another interview. A meeting is held with the agency manager and a follow up with the manager and the District Manager. If you aren't fully licensed, you'll be told to get your licenses (at your expense) and if you successfully pass them, you'll be offered a position and receive a small bonus as partial reimbursement of your license fees. Overall, this is the first of many attempts to indoctrinate a new recruit into believing COUNTRY Financial is the best company to work for and/or buy insurance from.

Online application, followed by a call, and then in-person interview for the position. Long, arduous process. Lots of talk about culture and earning potential. After it was narrowed down to 2 applicants, I was offered the role formally with my wife also at the meeting.
