It was not an hiring process, it was a social experiment. The whole process took 10 months, and (if I did not lose the counts) 11 interviews until a very strange conversation with the CEO which was more interested to know how was my life when I was a teenager. Besides that I knew very nice people on the interview rounds which made me to think, hey it would be good to work at that company, I discussed the salary range with HR and they pre-offered a wage lower than my previous employer. The end of story, after spending 10 months on this, they ghosted and I really don't have any hope to receive an offer. My advice here, if you would like to work for Canonical, make sure that is not the only thing you want, invest effort on the hiring process but have something else, don't apply for positions if you are in a hurry to get employed. Just to give an idea of how absurd this process was, in 10 months I left my previous employer, worked as a contractor for a company, got other 2 offers, and the contract company hired me as a full time employee right after the CEO interview from Canonical, if I had to wait something from this process, I would probably end up with a wasted year. So invest time on this process, only if you would like to participate to this social experiment and if you loose your job in a meantime, or simply don't put effort here, there are plenty of other companies outside there offering good jobs with higher paychecks.
