The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Sept 2021
Interview
5 interviews total - 3 case interviews, 1 “job fit” and 1 skills… total waste of time and unnecessary. The whole process was very inhuman..barely talked to you and the interviewers all felt cold and really were just trying to ask questions on a page so they could fill it out to submit. Not really getting to know you or your background. Says a lot about a company and their culture. Remember capital one, we’re interviewing you too to see if you’re a good fit. Not just one way. Also - heard from others that they don’t provide feedback if you don’t make it which is just very odd and insensitive.
The interview process was smooth overall. It started with a computer screening, followed by a 30-minute recruiter call focused on my experience and fit with Capital One. Then I had a one-hour “money case” discussing a Capital One product from different angles. I’ve now moved to the PowerDay round, which includes two product cases, one product skills round, and one product discovery round.

Interview
Interview had 4 rounds: assessment, recruiter, hiring manager, and Power Day. The Power day was 4 30 min interview sessions with other managers. It was pretty straight forward, just prepare some STAR based experiences.
Interview process included a first round HR screen, a second round mini case study, and a power day final round followed by a team match. Recruiter was very helpful throughout the process
