I had a phone interview where the interviewer was friendly and enthusiastic, and provided a clear overview of the role and team. However, it didn’t feel like they had fully engaged with my background, as some of the questions didn’t align well with my specific skill set and experience. I was invited to a second interview, but ultimately decided not to proceed as the role didn’t feel like the right fit for me at this time.
