The initial interview is supposed to be a phone screen. I had one scheduled and then got an auto rejection email today. No one canceled the interview with me or followed up, so I asked about this, and they told me someone else had been hired for the position. Very unprofessional way to find that out and to get auto rejected when already in communication with someone and having something set up.
