The Interview was very short. The HR will just ask about your basic information and what inspired you to join them. It is usually easier to bypass the HR interview as long as you have a connection.

Interview is conducted in Panel type with some technical discussion about last project or study undertaken in college. Interviewer asked specific details on plant design or something related to chemical engineering. Some interviewer focused on personality type questions. Majority are taking down notes about an interviewee, including may be the interviewee's answer to the questions asked.
