The interview process was really nice, everyone was kind. Didn’t get through the 4th round due to lack of experience. The overal assignment was made of 3 smaller tasks, something you would do regularly if you were given the role.

Was due to have a 30 minute interview. As soon as I joined the call the recruiter was annoyed, not sure whether she hates her job or was just in a bad mood that day. She asked me some questions about my experience but didn’t have much rapport. I was asked the age old “salary expectation” question. I probably went a little high at 40,000 per year but I was willing to go lower to work with a great team. The recruiter laughed in my face and said they pay visual designers more like 30,000 per year. The interview ended at 20 mins funnily enough after I answered the salary question, the next day I received an email that they would not be proceeding with my application. I was disappointed but understood and when I asked for feedback they told me I wasn’t as ambitious as the other candidates. The job was reposted two weeks later and then again a month later so I applied a second time. I received an email stating they were looking for someone with a different background. I’m a bit confused as to the kind of background they’re looking for since they have had hundreds of applicants for two months now and still have not filled the position. The last email I received was from a no reply email so I was unable to ask for feedback. In fairness to them they were very fast at responding the whole way through however I’m disappointed they wasted my time and find it hard to understand how they plan to find someone with a lot of experience but provide the lowest pay in the whole company.
