I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Durham, NC) in Feb 2013
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and instructed to complete a follow up questionaire. A few days later they scheduled me for the assessment center. Upon arrival we had a group interview. This was a great informational session to ask questions and get a feel for the structure. We did some role play and then broke off for one on ones. This proved to be a great opportunity to meet managers and get a feel for the company cluture and what they were looking for.

They brought in 20 people for a group setting. Once introduced the interview team, we were brought into a room to do a mock sales meeting virtually. After that, the interview team watched your sales job and then you interviewed with 3 people after.
