Completed a phone screen with HR and set up a phone interview for the following week.Two days later, I was called in for a face to face interview. I met with everyone on the team and was able to ask questions. Later that evening, they asked for references and called them the following day. I received a verbal offer a couple of days later and a written offer two weeks after that.

This was a Skype interview and the transmission and quality of sound and video was horrible. It was so bad that audio portion of interview had to be conducted over a phone. The range of the interview was moderately difficult and i felt i was on the defensive with many types of questions that I have never fielded in any first interview throughout my extensive career. I would say the experience will prepare me going forward to be more aggressive in interviews since the competition is much tighter than years before.
