I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DC Energy in Oct 2009
Interview
First round interview was 30 minutes long; 10 minutes fit, 15 minutes case, 5 minutes for questions. Case was not like typical mgmt consulting case; don't come in with the strategy consulting approach. The case really consisted of related questions which were indirectly linked to how electricity auctions run. Interviewer wasn't *that* helpful, which made it difficult.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DC Energy (McLean, VA) in Dec 2024
Interview
I went through a comprehensive three-round interview process that was ultimately undermined by poor communication. Despite successfully progressing through multiple interview stages, the lack of responsiveness from HR became a significant drawback. My multiple follow-up attempts went unanswered, and after waiting over a month without any updates, my candidate experience was negatively impacted, suggesting a need for more transparent and timely recruitment communication.
