Interview
Viel zu persönliche Fragen. Fast belästigend. Viel zu Motivation, bei Fitness First zu arbeiten. Warum Fitness First überhaupt. Sonst ausführliche Erzählung der Vita. Ziemlich primitiv für einen Akademiker. Pro: gute Terminvergabe.

Interview
Quick and easy, applied and was invited for an interview about a week later, when I arrived I was greeted at the door by the manager, I then had my interview which was really quick and easy, felt like more of a chat to get to know me than an interview, was contacted a few hours later offering me the job.

Interview
Guy said it was an informal interview, but in a way felt a tad formal with the difficulty of the questions asked. One guy asking, and the other writing the answers. Felt like the questions could of been better explained rather than me having to ask to repeat.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, how do you keep fit and active, whats the most important thing about an over the phone conversation with the customer, how to generate leads, how you failed a task and bounced back from it. About 10 other questions that were asked that were definitely made up by the boys themselves, and dependant on being a fitness fanatic and how you cope well within DW fitness environment. Something really that they should be training you on rather than asking in a sense. Honestly wouldn't mind working there, seems like a friendly, warm environment to work in in and a well kept place with nice employees. Hope i do get the job, not sure if i did myself justice tho...

Interview
Sent CV via online. Was contacted within a day and had the interview the following day. A very quick process. Unfortunately the interview was not as good. It was a little outdated and the interviewer was very condescending, almost like an ex-teacher, and the role play was also terrible and not realistic of true sales, conversation and lacked any real connection. Overall, a very quick way to put quality sales people off the company, the DW Sports Sales process and the senior staff. Poor experience of an interview. I decided not to continue my application.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Fitness First UK (Preston, North West England, England) in 01/06/2016
Interview
Telephone invitation; on arrival found several applicants who, like me, had no indication given of a group interview. We were brought into a clean studio and sat down, given a description of the company, then we introduced ourselves to the group with an interesting fact about ourselves. We then had three tasks to complete in small groups or pairs; the first was making a hat out of paper, the second was a game to instruct a partner on how to draw an object without actually saying the name of the object, and the third was to write down three keywords on customer service and explain to the group why they were important. Then, the manager took us one by one back to the café area where we underwent a one-on-one short interview. Later that evening we were rung by the manager who offered the job and invited us for an induction the next day.
