I interviewed at DaDa (Orlando, FL)
The whole process was remote. I received an automated response for my resume and both interviews were video calls. The first interview I was asked about my teaching experience by a teacher currently working for DaDa. I had a follow up where I did a mock lesson. I was given a scenario and asked to pretend the teacher on the other side of the video call was a student.
- How would you keep a 5-year-old child’s attention during class? (answered by role playing with the interviewer)

simple enough process. Don't know if they're taking on new teachers anymore. Had to give a class demonstration but that wasn't too difficult. Simple and ask expected. If I remember rightly, it wasn't longer than 30 minutes.
- they asked me the basic questions and for a class demo

Very easy. Was asked about my teaching skills and why I want to be a teacher. Needed to learn how to use the platform I was shown what I need to do. Then had a demo class with a student. After that, I signed the contract and started teaching.
- Do you you like teaching young students?

Very quick from application to interview. Lasted 30 minutes. Information not so clear on demo class (says teach 5 slides) so I prepared for this, then interviewer told me to miss out certain slides at the beginning and teach slides I hadn't prepared for. Despite this, straightforward demo class which went well. Interviewer was polite, no feedback on the spot. Rejection email 24 hours later with no feedback although I have 3 years teaching experience, bachelor's degree and TrinityCertTESOL, very strange, no explanation or feedback.
- Tell me about your online experience.
- Do you have any props?

The recruiter's English was poor and she rushed through the interview. I practiced the mock slides thoroughly and prepared everything to perfection beforehand . I was offered zero feedback during the interview but I felt it couldn't have gone better as I was experienced, fully qualified and have a bubbly personality and love teaching kids. 2 days later I received an email written in very poor English to inform me that I "did not fit well enough" for the position and they failed to provide any feedback as to why. I am very disappointed with with how I have been treated by Dadaabc, considering the huge effort I put in to preparing for this mock class as it was a requirement to have an educational background plus teaching props and the right coloured clothing. Based on my experience I don't recommend applying to this company.
- You have a Master's degree, right?
- Do you also have a TEFL certificate?
- How much experience do you have teaching children?

I applied online. I interviewed at DaDa in Nov 2019
I had to apply online. I was required to complete a live interview and complete a teaching demonstration. Feedback was offered from training recruiter and an interview had to be scheduled which took time to manage.
- What is your experience?

Extremely racist, only want white looking people. I possess all the requirements, teaching experience, and education background just not white enough.... illegal direct discrimination. Very racist avoid at all costs.
- Are you from the UK? (hint you dont look white enough)

Video chat with a DaDa recruitment rep. Very easy. He mostly explained the job and pay potential. A few days later we scheduled a demo lesson. Same rep. He emailed an offer letter the next day.
- What related experience do you have?

Fairly easy process. Application online through their website. Demo interview through Skype. Found out a few days later I was hired. Waiting to receive contract took a while.
- What teaching experience I had.
