The first-round interview was fine, standard conversation, no issues. Was told I advanced to a second round literally the night of the interview, which turned out to be a take-home assignment rather than an actual interview. When I asked about the full interview process and what stages were involved, the primary contact was vague and evasive and never gave a straight answer.
The assignment was described as a 4-hour task. In reality it was a simple one-pager with a short paragraph explaining your process, straightforward enough to complete well under that estimate. The scoring criteria was a generic 1 to 5 rubric with little meaningful guidance on what they were looking for.
The delivery of the assignment was its own issue. The primary contact gave a specific time they would send it and missed it entirely. I had to follow up just to receive materials I had already been promised.
Then came the feedback timeline. I was told I would hear back within two business days. End of day two, nothing. I reached out and heard back on day four with a generic "unfortunately you didn't pass." Had to push for any real feedback and was given almost nothing useful in return.
The whole process felt disorganized, evasive, and disrespectful of candidates' time. If this reflects how the company communicates internally, consider it useful information.
