I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Disney+ Hotstar (Mumbai) in Mar 2021
Interview
1st Round - Hacker Rank test - which had 10 mcq questions and one coding question
2nd Round - Javascript coding - Asked me to implement linked list in javascript on Array, had to maintain mutubility of objects when it comes to implementation, deleting a node, adding node in the center, displaying last three nodes
3rd Round - Javascript coding
1. Implement - Zip function in javascript
2. Implement - Promise.allSettled funcationality which takes array of promise and returns the result in array by maintaining the sequence of the results.
3. Implement - After Effects counter from 0 to 1 million within 2millisecond, Since due to lack of time I wasn't able to implement this thing but I gave 2 different solutions which would work using javascript. Here he wanted me to consider fps of different browsers.
All of these rounds were conducted on zoom call and they were using HackerRank platform for coding simultaneously.
There were few more rounds but as they didn't moved forward with my profile because of my approach in 3rd round of 3rd implementation.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Disney+ Hotstar (Beijing, Beijing) in Sept 2020
Interview
Applied online, no HR call, did first round through zoom directly. The interview went smoothly, a couple of questions related to my experience, projects, why moving back to China from the US, and an easy-medium coding question. And then chat about the job duties and current stage in the Beijing office. Although the position is for web-development, I didn't get any web-development related question. And no questions related to the position description.
Didn't hear anything back after almost two weeks so I asked hr directly for feedback. Interestingly enough, according to HR's response, the feedback from the interviewer is on the negative side and says that I'm not suitable for the position because they required a high standard coding ability for a "senior position" (senior pos, really? 2yr?). I was like wth? First of all, it's not a senior position, and no one even cared abt anything related to web development. And through the talk, I don't think the interviewer knows much about this field, and instead, he just asked questions as if he's hiring a new grad.
I was also doing interviews with a couple of other big companies with harder questions at around the same time, and felt this one is relatively easy, so the feedback feels really offensive and wired to me.

Question 1
They asked a couple of UI questions, asked to write polyfill for function bind, linkedlists and some DS questions around them. For design round, please ensure you show your ideas by covering a lot of cases.
