I was contacted by a recruiter from Doordash in September 2020. The recruiter described me the interview process and asked me to provide availability for an hour phone interview. I scheduled it couple of weeks later. It was standard Algorithm interview. One day later the recruiter got back to me, mentioned first interview feedback was positive and transferred me to another recruiter to help me with the next steps of the process. The second recruiter asked me provide availability for the virtual onsite interview. I again scheduled it couple of weeks later. The first recruiter mentioned that the second recruiter will help me understand the virtual onsite interview process, but I never received any communication from the second recruiter other than scheduling the virtual onsite. Just one week before my virtual interview the second recruiter emailed me to see if I can interview the very next day. It seemed like they have no considerations about my schedule. I replied I am not available to have the interview very next day. It felt something was not right, and my suspicion became true during my interview date when couple of interviewers seemed completely reluctant to conduct interviews. It seemed they were doing something else during the interview. I believe, the position was filled before my onsite interview. Once the interview was completed I never received any decision/feedback. I spent more than a month to prepare for the interview, I believe it would have been nice if they would let me know the position have been filled already instead of just wasting my time. Based on the earlier interview review it seems like DoorDash completely ignorant of interviewees time and effort
