Three stages - Recruiter Call, HM call and call with the VP sales. Pretty standard questions, why Egress, what do you know about our products, why a career in software Sales. The recruiter Dane was refreshingly good throughout, providing in depth prep and feedback and each step

The interview with sheffield branch was great. Warm and welcoming. However, during the interview with the founders and VPs, it was the complete opposite feeling and felt a little more hostile.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Egress Software Technologies (London, England) in Jun 2023
The recruiter reached out to me. The gave Egress a really positive sell for an hour over the phone. Then they ghosted me. An hour I that can't get back.

Easy interview where they ask you a few questions and a few scenarios. You are provided information beforehand which helps with the process. You are also interviewed by one of the CEO's which is also quite relaxed.
- How do you handle a frustrated customer?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Egress Software Technologies (Cheltenham, England) in Apr 2023
The interview process was streamlined and there was a lot of thought to the process itself. There were 3 stages to the process, which all took place within a week and the feedback directly from the recruitment team was very efficient and pretty quick after the interview had ended. The interviews were incredibly engaging and I was made to feel extremely comfortable
- What process do you apply to working on new features for a product?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Egress Software Technologies (Gloucester, England) in Apr 2023
positive interview although failed to get to the next stage due to lack of experience. Interviewer mentioned I had a good understanding in the cybersecurity field. Gave me interviewing experience for the future.
- Have you had any experience handling cybersecurity threats?

First round is with a great recruiter. Second is with the hiring manager who is also great. Where the negative experience came was in the third round interview being with the VP Sales. I work with VP of Sales on a daily basis from all different industries and segments so i understand that they can be direct. This interview was nothing like that. Constantly interrupting my answers and it was almost like he was trying to catch me in a lie. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and if this is how he treats new reps, can't imagine what the culture here must be. His company had just signed with my company for a solution and the entire interview seemed like he was trying to figure out if they got a good or bad deal through me. I understand trying to get a better sense of the market but the way he was doing this seemed like this was what was top of mind as opposed to having an interview with me.

Was a very charming interview process with the job specs and location outlined and a few technical questions to test my knowledge on Cyber and Coding. Was a very pleasant interview process with a description of the work requirements and the location as well as a few technical questions to gauge my knowledge of coding and cyber security. The interviewers came across as polite and knowledgeable. Interviewers came across as courteous and professional.
- The interview began with small talk about my background and my love of cyberspace, which was shortly followed by more technical questions involving mathematics and code. After that, a fun numerical game was incorporated into the interview to see how I thought. Finally, they asked a few questions about cybersecurity, including ones about OSINT, phishing, and payload analysis.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Egress Software Technologies in Jan 2022
The interview process was handled over four days. The first was an informal talk on the phone for suitability sift, the next was an in person (via teams) interview with two subject matter experts, the next was an interview with the COO, and the last was to finalise terms of employment and starting dates. The overall process was quick and well explained.
- The questions were predominantly the "who are you," and the, "problem solving" type questions. They were all fairly informal, or should I say, relaxed interviews. The questions I was asked are no longer relevant, as I know the interview has been reviewed.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Egress Software Technologies (Exeter, England) in Oct 2021
Original call with the recruitment guy about the company, what they were, what they had to offer was really great, nice, friendly and positive. The interview was the complete opposite. Two males that couldn't look more serious than if they were told their company was about to collapse. Confrontational and too structured without any real human to human discussion. Like someone else has put on here I was told I would hear back in a couple of days in regards to the interview. Heard nothing so emailed the original recruiter and was just completely ghosted. It's hard to say what the actual job experience would be in the role but the interviewers came across that the job was far too precise than other companies. The original recruiter sounded like the company was a welcoming and friendly environment which sounded really good. It's obvious that was just a front though so I'd be very cautious about actually taking a Job here.
