Interview
The interview process consisted of a phone interview. I then had a in-person interview with the charge nurse. The interview lasted 30 minutes.
The charge nurse seemed like she was just going through the motions. She did not seem that she wanted to conduct an interview with me. She barely made eye contact, and spent most of her time looking at the paper in front of her. Even while asking me interview questions, she did not make any eye contact.
After the interview had finished, instead of handing the card to me, she put it on the desk and slid it to me. Not a very good impression.

Q: Tell me why you want to work for Encompass Health?
Very friendly supervisor and casual interview. HR contacted me initially to do a prescreening and then I was able to go in for an interview person interview. The management is all very supportive and was introducing themselves to me
No clinical questions, case studies, or prioritization type questions asked, but be prepared to answer several behavioral questions related to patient care and how you handle conflict or difficult situations.

Interview
Phone interview on a Thursday. Interview scheduled on a Monday morning. Met with the nursing supervisor and nursing manager. Basic interview questions asked. The recruiter told me to wear scrubs cuz I may have to shadow but that wasn’t offered. Wasn’t given a tour either. I left unsure about how the interview went. I emailed the recruiter a few hours later and thanked her for coordinating the interview and to keep my updated on the status and she emailed me a few minutes later and told me an offer is being made and she’d call me. Overall, great experience and I appreciated the same day offer.
