1. Recruiter Screen 2. HM Call 3. Case study assignment with Onsite Presentation + Interview. 2 months of ghosting and fake updates later, was told an offer was extended to another candidate. It's unbelievable that a company would drag a candidate along for 2 months without providing any real updates to just then follow up with a rejection and generic feedback. It felt like the recruiting process is broken and disrespectful to have so much time pass. If you're not their top choice, they may drag you along until someone better comes along.
