I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at FedEx in Dec 2010
Interview
The interview began with a group interview consisting of situational questions requiring you to recall your reactions in past situations. After passing that phase, I was interviewed (same format of interview) by the managing director, via telephone, who gave final approval. Shortly after that, I was offered the position.
Advice: be prepared to share direct experience that is relative to the situational questions you will be asked. Do not be vague or long winded. Short, direct and concise answers will trump broadly explained run-ons.
