I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Salt Lake City, UT) in Apr 2011
Interview
They began with a 30 minute phone interview, which they ask different questions looking for examples of when you dealt with customers with examples. They were really friendly. After that there was a in person interview at the office where they go over a little bit more about Fidelity and different benefits. They then had someone who works in the position come in so the group could ask questions about what it is like to work there.
From there different managers came in and there were two per applicant. They then toured the facility and had the final interview. Again they are looking for examples of when you have dealt with customers and situations on what you would do in different situations. Make sure you stress how important customer service is.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Boston, MA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Brief 13 minute phone call (interviewer showed up late). Interview was very rushed and unprofessional, interviewer cut me off multiple times and did not give me an opportunity to ask him any questions. Keep in mind I was recommended to him by a branch manager. Very disappointed by this first interview round! Besides the interviews extreme haste, the interview went well. Use STAR method and you'll be ok.
