I actually had pretty high expectation when I got the interview cause I knew someone from inside before. But I could definitely feel the hiring manager was not interested in me during the process. I thought maybe it was because I didn't really have the "background" he was looking for, which was something they didn't list in the job description. I was told to expect an update within the week, but the thing was I got a decline message after I've followed up myself twice. I was initially quite interested in joining them, but now I'm quite disappointed in how I was being treated in the whole process.
