Question 1
The questions are very specific to what the hiring manager is looking for. Like my hiring manager is not really the expert in the position she is hiring, so she wanted someone who can accomplish without her supervise and she wanted the person to teach her and her group members certain technique. So in the interview, she asked questions on how I can work independently, do I have any teaching experience, etc.

I applied online. I interviewed at Genentech (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
They gave me a quick rundown of the company and the team, and then we delved into a discussion about my ongoing projects. It was an opportunity to explore the company's dynamics and see how my skills could fit in.
For the interview process, I had back to back interviews with multiple people, and they lasted about 30 min each. All the interviewers were very nice and informative. Each interview was quite conversational.
