I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Giant Food (Hyattsville, MD) in Apr 2019
Interview
The recruiting process was quick. I had a screening call with the recruiter. The call was more about me learning about the role and culture of the organization, pay structure, etc. I was called back the same day to see if I could go in sometime for an in-person interview. A few days later I had my in-person interview with a panel interview made up of: Hiring manager, a VP, a global leader role.

A few scenarios were presented to me about challenges within the organization and I was asked to give my feedback/recommendations on how to handle them.
Hiring process was pretty easy. It took about 30 minutes, and all the staff was very welcoming. I recommend getting there at least 15 minutes early. This shows properness and readiness.
It was a regular one round screen. Honestly you probably could walk in and same day get the job. It was chill. Might depend on management tho. My interviewer was very lax.
first round was call from HR. phone call asking about my previous experinences. got called for second round in the office. The whole interview was behavorial questions. Considering FMCG, i thought it would be more to and fro conversational. it went for like an hour. got results within a wek. hence, smooth process overall
