1. Hr phone interview - normal conversation regarding the job details and your expectation of interviews. Ask my asking rate which is 20% additional in my current rate.
2. Take home exam - given a website, create a test automation and push it to github. Ensure you are using best practices in preparation for the next round. I use playwright in my demo.
3. Technical Interview - this is a panel interview, 1 test architect from Australia and 5-7 local managers (can't remember, most of them are just listening). Tell them your experiences, more on the code preparation. Advice, know your code by heart.
4. Final Interview - Director or something, sorry I forgot his position. Behavioral questions, expectations, etc. Very cool guy. They want to transform they're current stack from selenium going to modern frameworks like playwright.
5. Offer - They didn't give me my asking. I had to counter it.
5. 2nd Offer - They increased it a little but still not enough with my asking rate. I'm more particular in HMO because I do have a family. Their benefits is good with single person but not enough if you have kids.
P.S. By the way I didn't apply directly here, their recruiter was the one who approach me via LinkedIn. In the end, I decline their offer.
