I drove to an in-person interview for this job, met with the General Sales Manager. We really hit it off, she said I would be perfect for the role and then tried to switch-pitch me into taking an Account Executive role - no way! About a year later, they reached out to me for the open Multimedia Sales Manager role. I interviewed with the President of the TV station. We had a great chat and he mentioned wanting to have me meet the team. He never reached out to me again. The recruiter said he liked me, but decided he would do that job + the President job himself. A few months later, I interviewed for another Multimedia Sales Manager role. I met with the GSM and President of a different station, where once again, they tried to switch-pitch me into taking an AE role as the manager role was promised to an internal candidate. Lastly, about a year after that, I was approached about a Regional Sales Manager role. I had 2 awesome interviews and was told I would be moving onto a 3rd interview but never heard back. Just weird...
