Interview
I went to ASNY 2011 and got a call back for an interview session from HR. I went through 4 interview sessions, each 1 on 1. The first is with the HR staff, and the other 3 sessions were with the Actuarial Staff from different teams. They were very nice and friendly. Unlike most HRs from other companies, this HR was very efficient in getting back to me within 1.5 week, even if it was a negative reply.
30 min video interview with 1 actuarial student and 1 a bit higher up- both previous interns. Mostly asked resume based questions. More like a conversation than an interview- interviewers always responded with their thoughts on my answer.

Question 1
How do you balance challenging priorities with academics, leadership roles, exam studying, etc.
Had 1 30 minute interview with 2 people, heard back the next business day. Interview was pretty chill, just asked the basic behavioral questions and 1 of the “how many ping pong balls fit in xxx” type questions

It was a 30 min interview with 2 actuaries from different teams. It was very pleasant and they took turns asking questions. I talked about my goals and aspiration and why I was suited for the company and this industry.
